The COAG Reform Council 2010-11 report under COAG’s National Disability Agreement has been released. The council found that people with disability still faced barriers to realising their potential to participate in employment or social activities. In the national labour force, for example, participation rates for people with disability remained significantly lower than for people without disability and have not improved since 2003. One third of people with disability reported needing more support to participate in employment.
